In Memory Of Jim Byrne

Jim passed away Wednesday Dec. 13th 2000 of a stroke.

Jim is survived by his son Bradley, wife Brenda and grandson Tyler, brothers
Dan and Patrick, sister Donna and of course the two who
brought Jim to us, his Mom and Dad.

Jim Byrne will always be remembered as a great friend to those of us in the racing community.   Many of us remember the blue Dodge Dart 4 speed that Jim very successfully campaigned several years ago.. turning on many win lights while still shifting gears in an era of automatic transmissions and electronics.  When Jim's health took a turn for the worse the past few years, he gave back to the racing community a great deal of enthusiasm and excitement by taking on the position of Web Manager for ublydragway.com, for which he would accept no salary; just the satisfaction of bringing exciting news and race results to his fellow race fans. 

Jim Byrne will be sadly missed by all of his racing friends, staff and management of Ubly Dragway and Northern Michigan Dragway.
